This Coach Talk relates to self talk anytime you begin to think of yourself in terms of failing at something or being incompetent.
Lifestyle observation:
Lifestyle is often considered from the standpoint of a status in various categories like: income level, fitness level, job title, type of vacation destinations, relationship status and so forth. So, improving or having a good lifestyle might be associated with achieving a higher level of success in something like: income or fitness. This is lifestyle from the limited perspective of Organizing Mind Consciousness, and it is a lifestyle approach that can have you experiencing symptoms of unwanted repetition of something, also known as boredom, frustration, depression, despair and/or anxiety.
Coach’s tip: Instead of thinking of your lifestyle as achieving a categorical status of some sort, think about your lifestyle as your basic approach to your experiences. Do you approach them in a limited way dominated by Organizing Mind or in a fully aware way where experiences are completed—and categorical lifestyle levels are free to change naturally?
Anytime you are down on yourself you can simply say: “my lifestyle is dynamic” as a reminder not to get stuck in Organizing Mind Consciousness.
Lifestyle exercise:
Think of a recent experience where you felt disappointed in yourself and concerned about a lifestyle category. Ask yourself whether you supported the flow of your natural awareness from Receiving, through Organizing then Releasing Minds. Was the experience founded in a resonant idea that you received—did you engage in a somewhat organized and active way—did you release the implications of however you described what happened?
Review the flow of your raw awareness to see if you completed the experience leaving you ready for whatever came next—allow that lifestyle category to be one aspect of a temporary experience rather than a permanent requirement for your happiness.
